CORE RATIFIES!!

20 Of 21 Operations stand with their elected Core Negotiating Team and assert their support by way of strong ratification of New NEMSA Core Contract.

COCO by a razor thin 54% to 46%, was the only dissenting vote among overwhelming support from the 20 other operations in the core. And this was despite tremendous leadership from COCO Chief Steward Rob Skaggs. "I view the COCO vote numbers a tremendous success, given the past history of that operation; I attribute that success to Mr. Skaggs and Rep. Jeff Misner working tirelessly at and away from the negotiating table." said NEMSA President, Torren Colcord. "From being a bit nervous and apprehensive the first day, to one of the true leaders on this 08' bargaining team, Rob has turned out to be one of NEMSA's best Chiefs and I know under his leadership, COCO truly has the potential to shine as a model NEMSA operation."

Nor-Cal NEMSA members will be pleased to know that the Contract is already formatted for printing and will be sent to the printer as soon as we get the signatures from the team. NEMSA will also be putting the contract on searchable disks for every member in the core and as always it will be available on-line.

NEMSA wishes to thank all members of the 08' CORE Negotiation Team, along with Chief Negotiator Tim Talbot, for an outstanding job!! Once again, this contract secures the NEMSA Nor-Cal membership's long standing position as the highest paid, benefited and represented private EMS Professionals in the U.S!
